Heather brings a multitude of musical experiences to her performance. Influenced by the sounds of Billie holiday, Patsy Cline and John Coltrane, Heather blends her musical history to create a silky, sweet sound, that echos the style 1930`s- 1940`s jazz This past year has afforded her the opportunity to work with Brazilian musicians, Marcelo Kimura and Alberto Bessera. Together with Kimura and Bessera Heather has just completed her third cd; a collection of Christmas standards which draws on the sounds of jazz and bossa nova. Heather currently lives in Nagoya, Japan, but her heart always brings her back to the village that raised her in Prince Edward Island, Canada.
