New Recording
~ a
collection of Jazz standards~
After Midnight is Heather Doiron's second album
Heather is a
singer songwriter and a lover of music. Since the age of fourteen she has studied professionally in the genre of classical
as well as jazz. She studied in New York with Jazz/bebop singer Sheila Jordan. Heather's repertoire includes
"Fly Me to the Moon", My Funny Valentine" "The Man I love","Skylark" as well many more classic jazz standards. Her silky
emotive voice is well-suited to folk music as it is to singing jazz. Her first recording in 1994 is a mixture of traditional
folk and original material. Heather currently lives in Nagoya, Japan, but her heart always brings her back to the village
that raised her in Prince Edward Island, Canada.
